Responsibilities of Security Agent

Patrol facility or man post as instructed and serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.

Detect & deter suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, client or employees at the site.

Report all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies.
Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats; and to alarms, such as fire and intrusion by following emergency response proceedings.

Must be at least 25 years of age or older
Minimum of 10 years Armed security experience is preferred. CCW preferred

Must have a high school diploma or GED
Prior Military or law enforcement experience preferred.
At least one verifiable employer.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Positive and loyal work ethic.

Willing to participate in Advanced Professional Security pre-employment process which may include drug testing and full background investigation including MVR check. (motor vehicle driving record)

Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.

Ability to obtain Merchant Guard guard license.

Qualified Armed Professional Security Agent applicants will meet the following criteria:

Must have open availability and a strong sense of urgency
Must be trainable for multiple locations.
Must have at least 10 years of experience in law enforcement, security, and/or military. A combination of experience totaling 10 years or more is acceptable.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 25 years of age.
Must have valid gun/weapons license and duty belt/weapons to carry.
Must possess a valid Merchant Guard License, or have applied and subsequently be issued such a license prior to employment, if working in a state where Guard license is required.
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
