This course introduces basic patrol techniques for security officers assigned to static sites. Officers will learn how to conduct effective foot patrols, follow post orders, identify site issues, document activity, communicate with Dispatch, and understand how security guard requirements may differ between Colorado and Arizona.
Colorado security requirements may vary by city or jurisdiction, while Arizona follows a statewide licensing structure through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Officers are expected to follow all company policy, client post orders, licensing requirements, and applicable state or local regulations.
